Fluvius Quarter-Hourly Import, Built to Handle the Edge Cases

A Fluvius export file has its quirks: DST transitions, duplicates on re-import, varying decimal notation. All of that is already handled in the import, so every client file starts with the same robustness.

Technical robustness: DST transitions, duplicate rows, decimal formats

  • DST transitions: the repeated hour at the end of summer time, the non-existent hour at its start.
  • Duplicates on re-import: the newest value wins, no duplicate rows.
  • Decimal notation and validation status (measured vs. estimated) per reading.

Missing quarter-hours are flagged, never counted as zero

Missing quarter-hours (gaps) are explicitly reported, never silently counted as zero usage — a difference that matters for the reliability of every downstream calculation.

Upload it yourself, or send clients a secure self-upload link

Alongside importing directly in the client file, a secure, unique link can be sent to the client so they can upload their own quarter-hourly file — handy when the client has easier access to their own Mijn Fluvius account than the installer does.

Immediately usable for the rest of the file

Once imported, that same quarter-hourly data automatically feeds the usage KPIs, the automatic PV/ battery/EV signals, and every later financial calculation — no separate imports per feature.
