Repeated, characteristic usage spikes in the quarter-hourly data can point to an electric vehicle or a charging station โ€” an estimated power rating is suggested, always still to be confirmed by you. Never a silent assumption that ends up in the advice without confirmation.

Calculating the Optimal Charging Strategy from Live Spot Prices

For clients with (or considering switching to) a dynamic energy contract, we calculate what different charging strategies โ€” for example charging during the cheapest quarter-hours of the day โ€” would earn, based on live day-ahead spot prices (energy-charts.info, with ENTSO-E as a fallback).
